How AmericasTopBirder Works
It's simple to participate.
1. Share Your Photograph
Registered members can upload their favorite bird photographs. Add a title, description, category, and photographer information.
2. Vote
Browse approved photographs in the Gallery and vote for the photographs you like best. Each member can vote for a photograph once.
3. Climb the Leaderboard
Votes determine the most popular photographs. Check the leaderboard to see the top photographs and photographers.
Two Ways to Compete
Photographs can be submitted in two categories.
⭐ Photography
Photographs judged on qualities such as composition, clarity, lighting, detail, and overall photographic appeal.
🦅 Rarity
Photographs featuring birds that are unusual, uncommon, or especially difficult to encounter and photograph.
Every Bird Has a Story
Share the photographs that capture yours.

Voting is designed to keep the competition simple and fair.
